I've been walking at least 30 mins each day. Last night I was so close to not walking, it was like 8:30 and then I started thinking how guilty I would feel today if I didn't so I just did it.
Still my total steps for the day where 8,377, I guess that's not bad since it equals 2.50 miles and that's more than I was doing two weeks ago.

Woot. I have found with the 10k steps program I alays had to take baby steps and work my way up to 10k. What I did when I first started is I wore it the first day and did nothing different than I normally do. That was my baseline. Then I tried to add 1k steps each day until I hit 10k total...:) hope that helps!

Thanks I'm gonna give that a try.

I checked out an audio book from the library and put it on my MP3 player. I only get to listen to it when I go for my walk, so if I want to know what happens next, I've got to get my tail end in gear and get moving. I've also found it makes me walk more because I'm so into the story, I don't realize how long I've been out there.

I've never thought to do that, but now that you mention it it sounds like a GREAT idea. Since usually when I start reading a book I can't put it down since I want to find out what happens next, thanks.
