So I just asked my husband to find out what his RDI would be to lose moderate weight loss and we found out that he can eat 2600 calories and lose weight. I'm sort of embarrassed by my reaction---I flipped out. That is twice as much as my RDI. He can literally eat twice as much as me and still lose weight, and all of my meticulous counting and making sure that I eat the right things so that I get enough food to keep me full are things that he would NEVER have to worry about. I'm so jealous, and the weirdest thing is that... If I could eat that much and lose weight, I would be shedding pounds like crazy! How is he simply maintaing? He must be eating even more than 2600! It's absolutely mystifying to me that anyone could eat that much after years and years and years of denying myself so much to merely maintain my overweight status.
I'm hitting a point where I'm so depressed over my weight, and I can't lose anything no matter what I do, exercise, change my diet, add more fluids. I'm thinking about juice fasting.
