i wonder how many calories i just burned cleaning up a highchair tray full of spaghetti that a certain 18 month old spilled all in the floor? claire pulled the tray that i THOUGHT had back far enough off the counter, but apparently...oh and this morning she put her foot (with shoe on) in her cereal bowl!!! milk and raisin bran went everywhere! and as i type this she has found a paper towel left over from the spaghetti clean-up,and she is ripping it into the tiniest pieces she can rip them into. i get frustrated,of course as anyone would,but i can also find humor and happiness in it.one day i will be here alone, crying and wishing that she was here to put her foot in her cereal,spill spaghetti,rip up paper towels,and whatever else she has on her agenda to do in the next 18 years.
(i was already a basket case listening to k-love while sherry talked about lexi's first day of kindergarten -i've been crying with her all day long thanking God that i still have my claire for a little while longer) sniff sniff
