I am finding out that my weight loss or at least my food choices are very much impacted by people around me. Friends who want to go out for a drink, my mom who always thinks I haven't eaten since the last time she saw me, and my fiancé who seems to have think meat should be served with every meal. Cue eye roll...I have my moments of weakness too but it's hard to always say no to everyone and stay on track. Any suggestions?

Become your own woman find a plan that is best for you and stick to it. You can eat different than them. The biggest hurdle is telling everyone NO, I don't want that, this is what I want to eat. You will always have temptations and food pushers trying to overthrow your plan, but you're young and can change it for the better.

I’d also suggest stating your goals and intentions to the people around you. Sometimes those around us don’t know or understand until we say something clear cut with our plan.

I’d add that when I told my husband my plan of CICO. (Increasing gym time, watching calories in) that he supported and joined in. Perhaps friends and/or family will join in too. 😊
