Today is my one-month anniversary on this diet. I've lost 8.5 lbs this month. I'm relieved I didn't gain weight this morning. Had a surprise birthday dinner and cake last night. Tried not to overdo but still woke up feeling heavy. Today is a fast day so maybe I will work some of it off today.

Morning hbkim - congratulations! You're doing GREAT. I'm really struggling to lose at present but resolved to stick with it another week as if no change then, I know that this WOE just doesn't suit me but until I know for sure, I am continuing on as it isn't really a hardship and I actually have got to like the "fasting days" ...?!**!
Enjoy your fast today x

Thank you, KellyM25. So far, so good. I like this WOE. After my first week, the rate of weight loss definitely slowed sown but it has been a steady decline. Heck, if I lost a lb every week, I'd be at my goal weight by around Thanksgiving. So I'm not complaining. I don't mind the "fasting" days and it's a relatively easy way for me to eliminate 3000 calories over the course of a week. I certainly prefer the fasting days to feeling hungry every day, all the time.
