Good morning ... !!

I do what I do diligently! Before I started I prepared my mind ... no ... I programmed my mind to stick to the rules of what I do no matter what ... No Matter What!

This is exactly the same what I did 17 years back when I successfully lost 57 kg's and I believe that going in with the prepared mindset was the reason for my success!

Now ... given the above I want to share my frustration and I would like to know whether:

1. You experience the same?
2. If so how do you deal with it?

I know what is right and wrong.

I don't have an eating disorder ... believe me ... An eating disorder do not weigh over 120 kg's and once I reach my goal I can switch back to call it "normal" or whatever I decide to do to maintain my weight. This frustration I also experienced 17 years back.

So what is this frustration?

GETTING INVITED TO EAT OUT WITH FRIENDS!!!

1. I 1st try to see if I cant dish up an excuse to decline
2. I normally accept because I don't want to be a party pooper

Going out eating somewhere the drinks are easy ..

1. You drink Coke zero or Tab etc.
2. You can drink water
3. A tot whiskey or brandy or any spirits is about 75 calories per tot

EASY TO DEAL WITH AND EASY TO DO ... BUT ... ITS THE EATING!

I am doing low calories and low fat and not banting or keto . Now:

1. I have to look for the appropriate item on the menu to suit my eating program
2. Should I take a salad I must hope or ask that they dont put any oils or salad dressing over
3. Whatever I choose ... I must now estimate the weight of the food I am eating ..,
4. Etc
5. Etc.

Getting home I feel that:

1. I have cheated
2. I don't want to be antisocial .. I am normally the soul of the party at any gathering
3. This one fail is causing the whole week to be a fail
4. I am not going to reach my goal I have set for my next weigh in
5. I have to start over the next week ...

Am I alone??

You are definitely not alone. But if you have to go out and eat, have a low cal breakfast or lunch. Don’t eat dessert. And most importantly no guilt. Guilt is heavy. You don’t need that extra weight in your life. We are still here to enjoy the short life we are given.
