Hi, I'm new to fatsecret. My wake up call to lose weight was about a year ago. I decided to go try a semester of college and I remember walking into the classroom and I was so scared I wouldn't fit in the desks. I did fit, but my stomache was all squished into the desk. I started dieting then and would measure my progress by how I fit in the desks :). I think I was doing ok and then just let it go and started gaining weight again. This fall I plan to go back and finish school. I just don't want to be the weight I am anymore. I joined a gym and I plan on starting running and lifting weights. Also I'm trying to be more aware of what I'm eating. I like cooking so I don't think it will be to much of a problem there.
