PhotogGal's Journal, 21 Feb 13

The past few weeks have been quite stressful, but instead of doing a lot of emotional over-eating, I have managed to maintain a more normal eating pattern.

My family, that encouraged me to move to my current home and state five years ago, just moved to another state. I am using their time to start a new life in a new place to start over where I am and change up my routine and my diet and exercise program.

I've been up and down the scale, mostly staying with the 230s for a while now. My goal is to get into the 220s for the first time in eons by the end of next week.

Today is garbage pick-up day, and I am cleaning out my fridge, freezer and pantry so I will have a "clean slate" to work with. More positive changes are on the way!

That has to be hard. My hubby and I have talked about moving to a different state a few times, but then come to the realization that we are too dependent on having our families around, so it's never happened. At least you sound like you are using this experience to make a positive start for yourself. That's great!! Get that "clean slate" going and I'm sure you'll find success!
