So far the Medifast food is less than wonderful. I've had the apple cinnamon oatmeal and the scrambled eggs. For the oatmeal I tasted it and it was plain, so I added some of the recommended condiments, which were some cinnamon (I used a sprinkle of apple pie spice) and some sugar free syrup. It was only OK even after the alterations. With the eggs, admittedly I didn't try them plain, but I sprinkled some of my Tastefuly Simple Dried Tomato Pesto seasoning on it to add some flavor. I think my seasoning was too strong. The consistency of the eggs was just fine, even considering that I microwaved them. Next time I think I'll either try a different seasoning or omit it all together. I think for the oatmeal I may try one of the Medifast recipes that I found online to turn the oatmeal into a muffin. I bet that would be an improvement! I guess the positive side to all of this so far is that at least I'm eating the food super slowly, which I know is good. My remaining meals for the day include the Maryland Crab Soup, Brownie, and a Medifast bar which I think is the cinnamon roll crunch flavor.
