Being out a job for 3 weeks and relearning how to be frugal couldn't have lined up more perfectly with my motivation to get fit because DANG I can't spend a dollar on anything! I also am not leaving my house/driving aimlessly/shopping sprees which usually result in iced lattes, Great Northern Pizza or timbits and I am learning how to kick those habits first because I want to but second because I have to. Being broke kind of sucks but I am learning to appreciate it. I would like to be able to afford an exercise ball but I will wait on it, there are other ways to break a sweat. I wish I had a motivational buddy around here who would walk with me in the evening! I watch too much Forensic Files and can't walk alone, wahh I am a baby :P

Perhaps you should ask some of your friends to see if anyone is interested in walking with you =) I did the same for a motivational buddy for the gym, and for a while we went together, after my friend could no longer go I was already dedicated to exercising so I had no problem going to the gym alone.

I have a few friends I occasionally walk with but they are not regularly interested in it, more of if there's nothing better to do :(. They usually try to trick me into going to Tim Horton's afterwards anyways which I don't appreciate!! I would love to find a local walker to partner up with, I should look into that.

I always just take my kids with me LOL! They like to exercise with mommy. We walk up to the store, buy calorie zero powerade, walk back, and then go swimming lol.

Very naughty, aways fighting with each other. They go rolling down the hall fighting. But when it comes to protecting each other, they are on the ball. When she was 3, my daughter woke up in the middle of the night and swore she saw a ghost. She grabbed my son by the leg and pulled him out of bed, down the hall, and into the livingroom. He was asleep when she grabbed him so just imagine him kicking and screaming the whole way! Funniest stuff EVER! I was impressed by her survival instincts though LOL.
