OMG! I totally messed up! I went to lunch with my mom today (Applebees) and prior to going I looked up what I could have. I saw the shrimp and spinach salad and it had 8 net carbs, so I ordered that...feeling happy and smart.....HOLD THE PHONE! When I got home to log my food, what I had looked at earlier was WITHOUT DRESSING! Did not notice that before....I had the dressing on it and that was 29 net carbs! CRAP CRAP CRAP!!! nothing I can do now, but ugh! Oh well....just finish the day right and hope for the best!

When I go to Appleby's for lunch I have their sirloin steak with side of veggies. Steak is just grilled and mixed veggies which can switched for green beans sometimes. Yummy and low carb!

Don't beat yourself up. We've all done this at one time or another. Recently I did it at Applebees myself. Ordered the grilled shrimp thinking it was a good choice. NOT. Luckily it didn't do too much damage :)

I actually looked up their nutrition information the other day out of curiosity. I was appalled. I cannot believe the amount of calories in their salads and the amount of sodium in all their dishes. I would rather eat a big mac than eat there!!! But before the other day, I never would have thought their food would be so unhealthy. They have us all really fooled! I'm with luckylady. You can't really go wrong with a steak and veggies sans sauce.
