Last night was gym night :). We worked backwards starting with free weights. Hubby added 5# to each side of the bar so I benched 55#. I was so unsteady! I did 3 sets and the last I managed 12 reps! 30 each curls and hammer curls. After the machines I ended with the 70# bar for squats. The one that has the weights you can’t remove. I’m sure that’s not their purpose, but the long bar is just too wobbly for lil ole me! (5’3” lol). Still had a few minutes so I did a few more assisted pull-ups and a couple leg presses.
Had to go down again on leg curls. I had shooting pains from my hip down to the side of my knee!! I took it to 60 on the second set then 50 on the last set. I managed 4 at 70 on the first but I wanted to cry. A nerve I think. I p•i•v•o•t•e•d on my right leg shortly after and my hip popped.
I really paid attention to my weights last night and I’d found where I had my oldest write down what I was doing last summer. I doubled most of them!
I really thought I’d go way over on food yesterday but the extra time working out laid off. So did walking in the store. I declined dessert and had a jawbreaker later. Stupid thing broke my tooth! It’s a crown I think. I wasn’t even biting it grrr. Just sucking on it and moving it from side to side. Now I have to make a dentist appointment. Online says they may be able to glue the small chip back on. It’s at my gum line so I’m not positive. It’s half the side of my tiny pinky nail so I’m hopeful. The ‘open’ part is about 1/8” wide and 1/16” from gum to crown. Keep your fingers crossed for me! Odd though because it broke between the teeth! The jaw breaker shouldn’t have even been able to touch that spot. 🤷♀️🤦♀️
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
