Today I saw someone from my graduate class that I haven’t seen in 10+years. He said he didn’t recognize me because I had lost so much weight... and he’s right. I forget sometimes how far I have come. I am so thankful for the reminder that I worked hard and that keeping track of my calories every day is worth the trouble. Some days I don’t feel like it, and slowly the rationalizing begins until weeks later I have gained 10 pounds or more! Right now I have 6 pounds to drop before I am back at my lowest... and I am going to make good choices this next week to stay on track!
