Just came back home ...
I spent my afternoon at the beach in a much needed rest ... Sunshine, an iced coffee, my ipod and a book .... Heaven... Such a beautiful sunset as well.

I had to go shopping for a swimsuit today (yes, a bright red new bikini. It is daring, even for me!!!).
A fellow shopper in the bikini shop seemed stunned by the fact that as I was trying on the swimsuit, I walked across the other side of the room to match it with a sun-dress!! She was actually so surprised, that she came to me and said "You do not seem to have a problem walking around with a bikini!!!". I thought, boy what is she talking about??? I might not have the perfect figure (define perfect would say my dad) but at my age, I have come to accept my flaws ... Was I supposed to try it on only in the confined space of the dressing rooms?? The mirror was so close to my nose that I could not see my whole body .... It is not like a was walking around in my underwear!!
Anyway, we women tend to get pretty weird some times ...

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!
I think I will go to sleep, I have some 5 hours of work tomorrow ...
Wish you a nice Saturday night!!

How great that you are confident enough to walk around in a bikini. I went to a hotel with my friend and I was too embarrassed to swim at the outside part of the pool because I looked so heavy in my bathing suit. At least I got in the pool which took nerve for me.

Actually, my confidence has to do more with age than with anything else ... I have come to realise that I have to accept and love myself. No one else will do it for me ... Getting into the pool was a very nice step towards your goals ... Next time you will be more confident ....It is a step by step procedure ...

I agree with the building of self confidence. I have not felt comfortable removing my shirt in public for many years and envied the men who could, fir or otherwise. I look forward to being able to do so next summer!
