Hallelujah! I'm finally under 200lbs. I've been doing this now since mid-August 2018. 75 pounds gone. 70 or so to go. Over halfway there. I'm really happy. My clothes are hanging off of me (I know this, not because I can feel them, but my mom is complaining.... leave me alone silly woman. I'm not buying new clothes right now...) I have some new medical issues to deal with, but, thankfully, they don't have anything to do with the new kidney. I've been taking a walk every day with the dogs, which isn't really exercise per se, but at least I'm moving around for an hour and a half every day. Things are looking good.

I hope you all have a great day.

Hi NewGirl! For some reason my link crashed so am answering you here. You asked about black bean salsa. It’s from Aldi?! Too much work in my case to make from scratch. It’s kind of one of my options for dressing up eggs for breakfast. Best wishes! And ponzu not bad calories and so yum right—bet it’s on your Korean grocery store list as it is on mine.

You should be proud of yourself. And walking the dog is great exercise. If your dog is up to it you can even gradually increase the distance. Congratulations!

Congrats to you. One and a half hours walking is great compared to zero exercise

Wow! Thank you everyone. To all commenting about the dogs: As far as walking the dogs vs. exercise goes... I just meant that we head "down to the pond" and I let the 3 of them wander around. I walk around a mile to a mile and a half (1.5 - 2.5 km in non-freedom units) during that time, but there's no real effort to it as the dogs do what they want and I do what I want. However, I agree that it is sort of exercise... I guess... kind of. Tash23: Thanks for the update on the salsa. And yes, I have ponzu along with low salt soy, soup soy, and dark soy. Love me any sort of soy sauce. I have cut back on my calories for breakfast and increased my veggie intake by replacing eggs with silken tofu. I saute some random veggies, add some silken tofu, and then add a sauce to it. Sometimes it's my homemade tomatillo salsa, sometimes it's Cholula Chipotle, sometimes some canned enchilada sauce, but more often it's my "asian inspired" sauce which consists of: Low salt Soy, garlic, ginger, rice wine vinegar, splenda, gochujang, and powdered peanut butter. I get a big plateful for under 300 calories with a bit of kimche and half a banana.
