Hey Whoever!! Someone told me to get the Atkins bars, that they were low in carbs(2 or 3 carbs in each bar. My husband went to Sam's last night and got me a box of Advantage bars. The carbs in each bar is 15 grms. of carbs. Where are the Atkins bars with the low carb bought from ? I just need a treat sometime. Thanks!!! dharper 1

Look on the front of the box. There is a little circle with a number in it...probably two, three, or four. Those are the carbs you count...not the ones on the back of the box. WHy? I don't know...but they are :o)

The carbs on the front of the box are called Net Carbs, or the carbs that actually affect your blood sugar. You can calculate the total net carbs in any food by subtracting the dietary fiber from total carbs (so if something has 3 carbs in it but 2 of those are dietary fibers, then the food has only 1 net carb). Count net carbs, otherwise you're probably eating way fewer carbs than you should be!

I have also been confused by the labels on their products. so if i am having a HUGE craving for something sweet, i eat 1/2 an advantage bar. i think it's better than finally caving in and eating a candy bar or something like that. it has helped me. and They ARE lower in carbs and have no sugar compared to real candy bars. and it satisfies my sweets demon....
