Thanks for all of your awesome comments! They are so encouraging and uplifting! I smile everytime I read them!
Ok, so today has been CRAZY!! But I must say that I have done really well. I love WW sooooo much!! It is so practical and easy! And I dont have to deprive myself of anything! Anyway, last night, my mom had to call an ambulance to come get my grandmother. She was in a lot of pain and we thought it was a bad kidney infection. Well, it turns out that she fractured her spine in a place that is close to her kidneys. All she did was bend over! She is not doing well at all. She cant do anything- not even feed herself. The doctors and social workers are advising us that temporary nursing home care is the best option. She will get the care she needs and recieve therapy at a slower pace than she would at a rehab facility. They said she could stay till she is able to take care of herself again (with minimal help) and then go home. But if she doesnt get better, then she can stay as long as she needs to. So, like i said - crazy day! We've pretty much decided that this is the route we're gunna take, but its hard cuz she is really independant and wont like the idea.
Well, thanks to anyone who took the time to read this! I guess I just wanted to get it all out! I have faith that things are going to be alright. Goodnight! :-)

Sorry to hear about your grandmother, I wish her a speedy recovery. I worked in a private nursing home for 7 years (Back when I was 16) and would see residents come in for short term injuries. It won't be easy on her, or you and your family, because no one wants to give up their independance. But hang in there, she'll get the care she needs, and hopefully will be home in no time! Keep us posted!

I hope your grandmother gets better soon. I know it was so hard when my own grandmother had physical problems that limited her independence... that's always hard for anybody.

Wow, Shell - that's a pretty stressful day. I hope she gets better fast and can be back on her own again. I'll be thinking of you - and her!
