I'm sorry Pam. You're allowed to grieve, the sooner you get it out, literally and figuratively the better you'll feel, but take your time and work it out however you need to. Rest for now, let your body do what it needs then get up and kick some ass later. We all go through this at least once. I've been laid off 2 times and fired once, myself. It happens and it ain't easy, but eventually we reach the final choice, which is to pick up the pieces and start over again. Big hugs, let me know if you need anything. :)
