Magpiezoe's Journal, 01 Dec 18

So, I think I need to go almost vegetarian for 2 weeks since I know going vegetarian has always increased my energy. (It could be psychological, but it works for me.) I'll be needing a lot of energy for working overtime.

Problems to overcome:
1. Have to cook meat for hubby and I cook too good. - I never had any problems ignoring meat cooked by other people, even hubby's mom, my mom, and restaurants. I was never fond of the flavor so when I cook it, I really add a lot of flavor. - Possible solution is to add the same flavoring to some tofu or meat substitute.

2. I have a feeling I will get hungry during overtime, since it's 2 am - 4 am. - I'm expecting it to be boring, but I could be wrong. I don't want to eat a starch at that hour and too many fruits will send me to the restroom. No near by Asian grocery, so no tofu jerky. - Possible solution is to try bringing carrot/celery sticks with a homemade dip or suck it up and get some beef jerky, since I would only need a couple of pieces of it to stave off hunger and it's low-fat/low-cal.

Good luck! for me, allowing myself to have 'as much as I wanted' but putting a 'reasonable' limitation like 'no solid food' allows me to not 'binge eat'. After looking at my data on Fat Secret, I was able to see that 'binging out' (defined by eating a lot because I was 'bored' or 'stressed'), is what cased me to remain obese all my adult life.

Yeah....Didn't do the vegetarian thing like I would have liked to. Went for the easy way out, because I had to sleep a lot in order to do the overtime thing.
