I am 17 days out from lap band surgery, and have been advanced to "mushies". Anything not already mushy, e.g. olives, have been pretty much purreed in the blender. No meat, yet. I need to have a minimum of 60-80g. protein, 64+ oz of fluids, and no more than 900 calories. So far I am satisfied, and can get enough variety to make meals pretty easy. I can add puddings, pureed fruits, GHP pretzles, soy crisps, baby food meat (yum), etc. I am still making use of the protein drinks like Unjury, added to other things, and other of their products left from pre-op, so they don't go to waste and so I get the protein I need, until I'm allowed dense protein. I am continuing to lose weight, but more dramaticly dropping sizes. Yippee!
For exercize I have been gardening in addition to housework and walking. However, there is no gardening entry, so I put it as shoveling and shopping. Kind of fits.
