Was tired at 9:30 last night. Went to sleep about 10:30 and woke up at 4 am. Gained .6 lbs. Overall uric acid is better but gout is still in right foot. Soaking my foot in very hot water with Epson salt and clay. Having celery seed tea.

Hiya, Gout, ouch!
I too suffer from gout or I used too. Watching what I eat & taking a daily tablet (Allourinol) has worked wonders over the years. I also have Naproxen tablets just in case of a sneaky flare-up.
I always found hot water or anything hot would make it worse, even the pressure of the water would trigger off the pain. The cold would sooth the pain though.
