I seem to have stalled and can't drop into the 160s. I'm eating under 1000 calories a day and walking at least 10,000 brisk steps. I know the calorie count seems low but almost every morsel I eat is nutritious. If I boost the calories to say 1200 my weight starts to creep up again. My goal is closer to 140 pounds--a seemingly impossible task. Is anyone else in the same boat? More exercise is probably the answer.

Are you weighing all your food? I’m 5’2 as well, granted I’m not a Senior but I get nowhere near the steps you do! Well done! How long have you stalled? I ask because I’m at 150, down from 250 last year... in the 160s.. again, no where near your steps but I was able to eat at least 1200 calories. So something is up.

Yes, I weigh everything. My weight seems to be creeping down again so that's a relief. 150 pounds seems like a distant dream weight TorStar80. What an accomplishment for you. Well done.

Well the lower you get, the slower it goes.. I’m glad you’ve seen some movement. My loss is slowed to about 1-2 lbs a month and it’s painful! Just keep at it. My goal is 140 but I know that’s a long way off.
