Congratulations on finding the way. High intensity training is pretty tough, but rewarding. Did 30 seconds on, 90 seconds off, times six for a long period. For my situation, things turned better when I upped my proteins. I probably did too few for too long. It takes time to decode what the body needs. Happy to hear you are having great progress.

That's a vast improvement! Has your medication changed as well? I do better on the generic. Well done.

I have slow thyroid too. I was just told by a pharmacist to not have any soy product when taking the medication, also told best to be on a low-glycemic diet.which I don't do. I do have to work extra harder at keeping my energy level up to keep moving. I drag sometimes.. If I sit to long I want to fall asleep. That's why I never sit..

Soy is a no no for those of us with hypothyroidism. I also avoid preservatives and eat a diet rich in omega-3 vitamins.

Geez,....I have been medicated for hypothyroid for 9yrs now and I have never had anyone tell me about the soy being something to stay away from (which is a shame since soy protein instead of red meat protein really helps manage my cholesterol levels). Any other tips I don't know about?

Thanks guys, I don’t do soy foods...I have however started to pay more attention to nutrition labels...it may take a few min to make the best choice on what to buy but I feel better when food prepping and eating about what I bought. My body deserves it. Meat/chicken i have in way smaller portions since it takes so long for it to digest. I have it more as a side and add more veggie type dishes. Just get creative and download a new cooking app like “ all recopiles” many good options on how to cook the same foods in various ways. After cutting out candy pretty much 95% I don’t feel myself having that sugar craving anymore. Nutrients are in all foods and this app is great at letting you know what you are consuming per meal or lacking in. Oh my medication was increased 2-3x last year :( I had just neglected my heath. Since I’m “normal” now we will monitor and retest I’m 6 months to see if we can decrease the dosage....

Another tip. that I never do , after taking medication wait 1/2 before consuming any milk type products and food. My specialist says if you have been doing a routine for awhile and you have a normal blood test , keep doing that same routine. If there are changes in your bloodwork ,then something is interefering the way the medication should be working..

Yep, D-3 is a must for everyone! Or if you don't like supplements, spend sometime in the sun to get your D-3.
