My BG this morning was again 101 which was great! On the downside the scale still has not moved and I'm getting concerned. I'm thinking part of this comes from the few times in my life I intentionally crash dieted and the years where food was a luxury in our house. Between the mindset and the fact my body resists losing weight .. ie automatically goes into starvation mode if I don't eat regularly enough. Because of these things people like myself fight the temptation to crash diet simply because we tire of not seeing the results quickly enough and lose hope. The years of lack of healthcare, proper food, nutrition, the education AND understanding thereof shows abundantly in my large body, my failing eyesight, diabetes, neurological abnormal ties and even my fibromyalgia. HOWEVER, I'm reminded we have discovered the internet and found each other HERE. We are not alone and WE are the push for further research into understanding the true impact of what we eat concerning our health and future health as a nation. The research of today will save future generations this pain. We are the research. I can't help but feel better knowing this. Staying focused? That's why we need each other.
Ok that was my big thought for today:) Time to get ready for my doctor's appointment. It's going to be a long day:)

Ruby, you aren't getting enough calories. Please add some olive oil, butter, or mayo to each meal. Aim for 1500-1800 calories a day, and whatever carb count you are aiming for, and you should see the weight loss pick up. Good luck with the Dr. I am praying for you! :D

Thank you both SO much! And you're right.. I do need to make sure to get my calories up. Looking back when I started and lost weight in the beginning I can see what happened. Thanks again for reminding me. I keep forgetting that if I don't eat enough I won't lose! Ok.. my bus will be here soon. Thank you again my friends!

Ruby I agree with ctlss your calories are to low and your carbs..cutting back will cause your body to hang unto every thing you eat. You have to eat to lose weight..you don't want the weight loss from a diet to low in nutrition, not healthy and not long lasting as soon as you go back to eating normal the pounds will come on. You have to teach your body and it will come. we all want the weight off yesterday but be good to yourself. I want you to be a winner and you are, just be patient and you will see success. I am here for you , we all are... :)
