Okay, I live with a rough crowd for any sort of healthy eating. My husband is VERY big into meat. (He expects 2lb of beef to a standard size can of spaghetti sauce, as an example.) We've also currently got two friends staying with us, one very into convenience foods and the other who eats only sporadically.
We're also living on a VERY tight budget with a rather busy schedule. So, trying to get good food in the house just for me is difficult to impossible, depending on the week. Nevertheless, I've got to do something. I'm hoping being on here I can help to hold myself accountable to something and get back on track. I've followed the Weight Watchers plan in the past for brief periods, but never a full year.
My short term goal is to be able to ride a particular roller coaster when the local amusement park opens next summer... we'll see.
