So my scale this morning tried to inform me I was at 213.5 - it's obviously a liar because there is *no way* I gained four pounds in two days since I've eaten in the neighborhood of 1200 cals daily. I know I'm retaining fluid I just don't know why - my feet were totally swollen yesterday but not my hands which was weird. I don't do salt and I drink about 100 ozs of water a day so I'm thinking I'm PMS'ing. So my new goal is to keep track of my cycle so I actually know what's going on - such a novel concept ;-)

This sounds like a hormonal "gain" - as in it's not really a gain, just water retention due to hormonal fluctuations. Don't let it get to you.
